I had the pleasure of staying at Cosy Cotswold Home - Jacobs Cottage, a delightful retreat nestled in Cirencester. The warm welcome from our hosts was heartwarming, especially with the thoughtful gesture of champagne awaiting us. This charming cottage was impeccably clean and offered all the facilities we required, including a well-equipped kitchen perfect for preparing our tropical-inspired meals, a refreshing change from my usual marine adventures. During our stay, we enjoyed leisurely afternoons in the garden and the heated pool, a luxurious addition that made our experience feel truly indulgent. Cycling through the scenic surroundings was another highlight, connecting us to the serenity of the landscape. As a marine biologist, I found peace here, a welcome contrast to my oceanic explorations. With excellent communication from our hosts, I felt supported throughout our visit.
